MAMATH

An age ago, I was commissioned by Fable Imaging to paint a couple of layered illustrations for a new website. I was still finding my feet and mostly got the job because James (who was just starting up Fable Imaging) and I had just finished the same business course.

Looking back, I’m a little sad I don’t paint more! These turned out pretty cool.

The illustrations were designed with separated foreground and backgrounds so that when implemented on the website they could scroll on separate planes to create a parallax effect. It’s a fun idea! Also a wizard with a boom mic staff is still funny as hell.

Unfortunately the version of the Fable Imaging website that used these images/concept is no longer around and I never took video of the effect at work.
